Posted on

Laravel is one of the most familiar web-based framework which is built on PHP (PHP Hypertext Preprocessor). Below is how we are installing Laravel web-based framework. The command which is represented to be used in order to install it in a host, workstation or even a server is shown as follows :

composer create-project --prefer-dist laravel/laravel laravel-test
composer : It is a utility which is basically a dependency manager for PHP. It manages packages or libraries per project basis and it is in form of a command executed in a command line
create-project : It is an additional command used to create new project
laravel/laravel : The web-based framework which is used as the additional parameter of create-project
laravel-test : The directory which is going to be created for the newly project

The above command must be executed in a command line which is represented with a bash prompt.
