How to Add Internal Wildfly Application Server in NetBeans IDE

Introduction

This is another article where the main content is about how to add a specific settings in Netbeans IDE. In this article, the example is using Netbeans IDE 8.2. It is running in a PC or laptop using Microsoft Windows. Specifically, it is a Microsoft Windows 10. So, just make sure that Netbeans IDE 8.2 is already exist and it is available for further execution. Furthermore, do not forget to have the Wildfly Application Server also. For an example, just download the compressed format file installer of the Wildfly Application Server.

How to Add Internal Wildfly Application Server in Netbeans IDE

The following are the steps in order to add internal Wildfly Application Server in Netbeans IDE :

1. First of all, just execute the Netbeans IDE. The following splash screen will appear :

2. If there is no other error messages, the Netbeans IDE will appear as follows :

3. Access the following menu for setting the Application Server’s service. Either accessing from Window > Services so the following window will appear in the Netbeans IDE :

   Just right click in the Servers as in the following appearance :

   By clicking it, the following window will appear :

4. Another way to be able to present the above window, it is by accessing the menu from Tools > Servers. which is the following window will appear in the Netbeans IDE :

   Select the Wildfly Application Server and then click the Next button. It will have the same window appear as in the previous step which is in the third step.

5. In order to continue, just select the Wildfly Application Server as follows :

   Just click the Choose button and the following window will appear :

6. Continuing from the previous step, just click the Next button to proceed. The following image will appear :

   If there is no other different arrangement or settings for the above port configuration just click the Finish button. The following window will appear :
